DISCOVERING OUR WHY
Wonder Dogs Rescue was founded in 2017 in Montgomery County, Ohio after a small group of dog lovers saw a need for change in our communities. Dogs are suffering due to overpopulation, neglect, abuse, and homelessness, with city and county officials doing little to help. We may be small, but our will to help is fierce and we will fight for the dogs that others have abandoned.
Wonder Dogs Rescue's mission is to decrease the Miami Valley region’s companion animal homelessness and euthanasia rate through education, assistance with veterinary care for community members, and by fostering and ultimately finding homes for adoptable dogs.
We believe every dog entering into our foster care program deserves the best chance to thrive and find their place within this world.
